36 Oaks Retreat is conveniently located in Alleyton/Columbus - conveniently located between San Antonio, Austin, College Station, and Houston. The 6-acre property is unassuming as you turn onto the dirt driveway from the IH-10 access road. The beauty quickly unfolds as you begin to see the sprawling 200 year old Live Oaks, the charming guest cabin, newly remodeled ranch-style house, and pool area. Check out the historic Columbus area and enjoy the activities on site.
Main House: Enter through the gorgeous sunroom and catch the vibe of this country yet modern southwestern-inspired home with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.
Guest Cabin: Country, quaint, and full of character with real barn doors separating the living area from the bedroom.
Pool Area: Massive pool (4'-10' deep), hot tub, outdoor kitchen with large gas grill, small charcoal grill, bar, pergola, fire pits, and plenty of places to lounge.
Play Barn: Complete with ping pong, darts, cornhole, and hook & ring. Volleyball and tether ball are setup outside of the barn. Newly built 2-stall bathroom.
Live Oaks: Sprawling live oak trees, estimated to be over 200 years old are all over the property but concentrated in the back. Catch the breeze and some shade under the Oaks during the day, and continue enjoying the view at night once they light up.
Stage Barn (separate rental): Host your special event and party like rockstars on the 2-level stage. PA system and lighting are provided and the audience can enjoy the entertainment from the handcrafted whiskey barrel table sets.

Summary: Everything was great! The pool is impressive with it being 10ft deep! My kids absolutely loved it! The adults hung out in the play barn with many different games to play! All our needs were meant from grilling equipment to kitchen appliances etc. Communication was always available and the info desk was EXTREMELY helpful! We will definitely be coming back!

Summary: WOW!!! We cannot say enough about 36 Oak Retreat, owners and staff. Absolutely amazing! We were able to plan a wedding here sight unseen from Colorado and it did not disappoint! Elicia and Ryan could not have made our special day any easier for us. The property really speaks for itself! Gorgeous! It was the perfect back yard wedding and barn reception and everything we dreamed it would be. It has literally everything you need, and it is a perfect place for weddings, families and kids. You stole our hearts with this little retreat. Thank You Thank You Thank You. We will be returning. ❤️ 🌳💍❤️

Summary: Elicia was great - she checked in on us multiple times to ensure our stay was enjoyable and we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful! Only a 45-minute drive from Cypress (which is great for two toddlers) and has lots to do, including swimming, fishing, games, etc., for the adults and kiddos. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely keep in mind for future getaways.

Summary: The property is so peaceful and extremely well stocked! We had our children and friends stay with us and it was plenty spacious with something for everyone to do. The fire pit at night was fun for the kiddos who wanted s’mores. All in all it was a great family vacation because of the place. Highly recommend!

Summary: spacious home, large island in the kitchen. Outside Kitchen area is nice but could use some cleaning. The trees are Beautiful, pool is wonderful. We brought our own umbrella's for outside by the pool since we didn't see any in the picture and glad we did. There is no shade near the shallow area. It is a wonderful place to stay and sure wish it was a bit closer for us. :) You will enjoy your time here.

Summary: Stayed here for a spring break trip with 10 college friends; the property is amazing and absolutely perfect for a chill trip to relax with your friends. The wifi was not great at times, which made watching movies a bit more difficult, but overall an 11/10 experience!
